Los Angeles, CA (Date) – Inventory Capital Group, Inc. (ICG) a leading business finance firm, has set Friday, October 29 from 8:00AM-5:00PM for its first Growth Business Seminar to take place at the Olympic Collection located at 11301 W. Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Featuring prominent speakers from the worlds of finance, planning, marketing and government, The ICG Growth Business Seminar is created for companies that are poised to take their businesses up to the next level. Designed as an intensive forum of practical information, the day-long seminar will present hands-on professionals who will focus on the essentials required for growing a business. The seminar will be moderated by ICG Chief Executive Officer Todd Kesselman.

The all-day S seminar begins at 8:00AM with a networking breakfast followed by a series of workshops and lectures, including the following key areas to be covered during the day:

  • “Eye-Opening Blueprint For Successfully Growing Your Business” - a three-part workshop that Todd Kesselman will present during the morning session of the Seminar.
  • How Local Government Can Help Your Small Business Grow – The various forms of assistance that local government can provide to small businesses will be identified by Richard Wuerth, Program Manager, L.A. Mayor’s Office of Economic Development.
  • Federal (SBA) Guaranteed Loan Programs –How Federal Guaranteed Loan Programs can be accessed, and which of the many SBA Loan Programs are most suitable to help your small business grow, will be discussed by two experienced Bank of America lending officers: Alfredo Villalobos, VP, Small Business Client Manager,and Andrew K. Mort, V.P., Government Lending Specialist.
  • CalCAP - The California Capital Access Program - A review of the State of California’s excellent but under-utilized CalCAP Loan Program - which might be the right loan program for you – by Scott Espeseth, VP and CalCAP Manager for First Bank.
  • Critical Marketing & PR Moves That Will Catapult the Growth of Your Business – Steve Syatt, CEO of corporate and entertainment public relations./marketing firm SSA Public Relations will share specific effective yet low cost marketing and publicity techniques that can be implemented by growth businesses.
  • Holding the Tiger – ICG’s Todd Kesselman will show that when fast-growing businesses grow too fast they can get ‘eaten alive.’ Businesses risk failure when they grow out of control, because they become vulnerable to vicissitudes. Kesselman will explain how to keep a grip on your growth, so that your business grows profitably.

The Keynote Speech will be delivered by Peter Beiler, CEO of Media Funding Corp. The topic will be Growing a Business From One Million To $100 Million. Bieler will discuss his experience in achieving the phenomenal growth and huge financial success of the Suzanne Somers “Thighmaster.”

The ICG seminar concludes with a Q&A session with the entire panel of speakers, followed by a networking reception.

Early registration (paid by October 8) is $105. Standard registration (paid by October 28) is $195. Registration at the door is $250. The registration fee includes a buffet breakfast, all-day coffee-tea, a formal lunch, wine reception at closing, comprehensive seminar materials, gift bag and free parking.
